Not a sunday thing

LUCHO is a songwriter, producer, and worship leader from the Bay Area, raised on a raw blend of gospel, soul, R&B, and the sonic culture of the local church. Influenced early on by voices like Julio Melgar, Israel Houghton, and Fred Hammond, his work focuses on building spaces for worship that are deeply vertical, culturally grounded, and musically rich.

For LUCHO, worship isn’t a genre or a performance. Instead, it is about carrying God’s presence into everyday spaces, from altars to city streets. This conviction drives ALTR, a project of raw, spontaneous prayer sessions recorded live to serve as a digital sanctuary and a tool for true communion.

This same intentionality carries into his studio releases, led by the single "Crea en mi." His original tracks function as sonic altars, gathering fully vertical songs written intentionally for the Church to sing to God, rather than just singing about life with God.

Beyond his own music, LUCHO is expanding this ecosystem through Radical & Intimate, a record label and media network designed to support and champion independent kingdom creators. Whether through a studio production, a live session, or a collaborative release, the mission remains entirely singular: reclaiming everyday moments as altars.
